Driving in the South

This story is not funny like the fact that everyone drives for miles with their blinkers on down here. This story involves me coming within a foot of being smushed.
I was driving home from school (of course). I was in a left turning lane, the left most turning lane of two. When the light tuned green, I did what I always do: I waited for about 3 cars to run the red light, then proceeded. All of a sudden I saw a large red truck about a foot away from the side of my car! The kid was traveing at about 60mph. He barreled through 2 lanes of turning traffic to nearly hit me!

Clever Title

I just passed my first A&P test by one % point, so I have not even been checking my email lately and I have been studying while doing everything. I do not have the time it takes for this class, but I am determined to make it.
Morgan and Michaela are sick, as most of you know. Morgan is on oral antibiotics and so is Michaela. Morgan has a double ear infection along with a cold. Michaela's left ear is infected, naturally, since she has a cold. We are in the process of getting a referral to an ENT doc to have tubes put in her ears.
The girls and I will be in town June 26th-July 4th. I will have my nose in a book the entire time. I am thrilled. Well, I will be when I have some strength back. I am feeling that cold coming on also.
I am not getting to eat and sleep much.
Michaela woke up screaming at 6am this morning after I had just put Morgan back to sleep. Instead of giving her some Motrin and laying her back down, like a well rested person would do, I brought her into my bed to try to sleep a bit more. I thought we were both dozing when I was startled awake by a little finger up my nose and Michaela giggling, "Nose!!" She is always trying to help me study for anatomy class.
