Here We Go

I went to the baby doc one more time before we left to see how things are going. The doctor guesses the baby is 6.5-7lbs. I am dilated about 2cm, which is not much and I could be that way for weeks. We hope so. We will head out at 6am tomorrow. See everyone soon, I hope.

Soda Bread

Every year Grandma goes to the Gaelic imports store in Cleveland and picks up Irish Soda bread. She always saves a loaf for me. I miss real Irish soda bread. I don't even think they know what it is down here.

Play Date; because someone should have a social life.

Don't ask me how 2 toddlers = 1/2 the trouble! These two get along so well it's like a dream. A giggly screaming dream. Koan's parent's were trying to do their taxes yesterday, so I babysat. It was a blast!

Baby Doc

Went to the baby doc today. I have gained 29lbs already, but I don't look that big and my bp is low. I don't think this baby will be early. I go back on the 19th, then I will go every week after that. 6 more weeks. That's it.

Oh Michaela!

Michaela is on antibiotics again for an ear infection. I am trying to decide if I should push the idea of tubes or not because her doctor hasn't seen her problems like I have and doesn't seem to think they are necessary. The way that medicine works nowadays is we (the patients) tell the doctors what we need and they do it. So I feel the need to make a decision. We also had to up the dose of her daily laxative. She will be on them until further notice.(probably about 5 years)
I am hoping those things are the reason her behavior has been less than pleasant lately. She has been screaming for naps, bedtime, getting dressed, and diaper changes. She has also been throwing food and using food to stall bedtime, or something else she does not want to do. She did hit me once this week too. This could be toddlerhood, and/or her way of expressing her discomfort she is feeling from her ailments.

On a precious, happy note, Michaela has started twiddling her thumbs! She picked that up all on her own. Joe and I do not do that. It is so cute!

Big Baby

King is waving hello. Funny how I feel much bigger than the pictures show.

IHOP, Sunday, 12:30pm

As you can see, it has been raining and pouring here this weekend, but that would never discourage Sunday church goers from their pancake lunch.
In Sumter, they make sure going to church and going out to eat are the only things you can do on a Sunday. No items besides food are to be sold on Sundays until 1:30pm. We went out in the rain today forgetting this amazing law. It was not a total waste of gas. I did get a picture of all of these cars at IHOP. Enjoy.
