Morgan's 6 month checkup

Morgan did very well today. Her appointment took 2 hours and they did not calculate her percentiles. They also did not have the girls' medical records ready like they promised.

Morgan weighs 17lbs and 7oz. She is 28 and 1/4 inches long!!! I forget her head circumference. They did not write it down for me.

Morgan was good, but definitely has stranger anxiety. She screamed while others were holding and/or examining her and was fine once she was in my arms, and an arms length away from anyone else. Totally the opposite of Michaela.

I cannot wait to be back in Cleveland where my childrens' medical records will be in a computer that spits out percentiles for the staff, all in under 30 minutes.

Michaela's 2 Year checkup

Today was Michaela's checkup!
She is 33and3/4 inches tall and weighs 26.2lbs.
That puts her below the 50th percentile for height, at the 50th for weight. Her head, you will be pleased to know is in the 75th percentile.
She did get one shot and she was very good!
The appointment only took an hour and 45 minutes today!...oh, I made myself sad.

Here is the Plan

We are moving ourselves. We are packing a 26'trailor, towing the cavalier and moving it all to Ohio. We will have a storage space in Ohio. Most of our stuff will stay there. We have already set up a u haul and the military will reimburse us for the cost of our move. The girls will travel with aunt Rachael to Ohio October 17, or 22. We will have the truck on the 24th, and leave for Ohio on the 28th. Jeremy is going to fly down to help us and we will have some other help packing up here. Joe will fly out from Cleveland November 5th. That is the tentative plan right now.

Party Update

The party is set on Sunday, the first at the Lake Erie nature and science center. I am so excited, and I have to warn everyone that there will be wild animals in the room, including a snake, a bird of prey, a turtle, and two others. The kids are going to love it. Can't wait!!!!

Michaela's Birhtday

So we are working on a party on November 1st. It may not happen. We shall see.
Michaela is into the Little People and anything for them. She has a house, train, horse carriage, and SUV, but they make so much more and she would love every bit of it. She needs more sidewalk chalk and washable crayons. Sticker books would be a good idea. She loves princesses, especially her Disney princesses. She will wear 6 wide shoes in the winter. 2t-3t clothes, but remember, she is short. If the pants look a little long, they are. She threw herself on the floor of the BX because I would not buy her this baby doll that is huge and apparently crawls and makes noise (can't wait for that one). She is also an avid reader. That's all I can think of right now.

Sick and Moving

Our days have been filled with 3 and 4 hour doctor appointments for the girls. They have bronchitis. They are both on antibiotics. I hope they will be well soon. I am so worn out and I am sick too. I don't know to what extent. I can't stand the thought of going to the doctor at the moment.

Our last day here on base will be October 28th. We will be in Ohio for Halloween. Michaela will go trick-or-treating for sure. I would like Morgan to be a monkey. Michaela will probably be a princess.

I found an organization who fosters soldiers' pets. I submitted an app. today. This sounds good.

We still don't have anymore details other than that. I will let you all know when we know.
